With a view to strengthening its corporate controls, ethics and transparency in carrying out its business, the Vamos Group has set up a Compliance Section, as part of a new Risk and Control Management, Compliance and Auditing Department. The section will verify, supervise and control the proper performance of the company’s duties, to ensure compliance with the laws applicable to its business.
The company already has corporate mechanisms for the purpose of ensuring compliance and taking preventive action with regard to its business activities, in response to Executive Law No. 8,420/2015 (governing Law No. 12,846/2013 – known as the Clean Company Law or Anti-Corruption Law) and following the best practices recommendations proposed by the Office of the Comptroller General (CGU).
The Whistleblowing Channel is outsourced, with a view to providing greater credibility regarding the anonymity of the complainant and enhancing the efficiency of the verification of the complaint. Following the investigation, all complainants, while preserving their anonymity, have the opportunity to monitor the steps taken by the company. The service is available 24 hours a day!
